Why We Built This Site
Mississippi makes court information available through several channels, but Montgomery County cases are not held by one universal clerk or a free anonymous portal. The Circuit Clerk keeps Circuit Court files. The Chancery Clerk keeps chancery matters. Justice Court and city clerks maintain their own lower-court records. PAMEC is the remote access layer for participating electronic courts. The aim is to make that division understandable before a person spends time at the wrong counter or searches the wrong system.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: local information on criminal court dockets and civil court dockets.
- Settings: ways to read a court schedule and confirm a hearing with the holding clerk.
- Search access: an explanation of docket search paths by name or case number.
- Official copies: how court case records and certification requests reach the custodian.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, not a Montgomery County or Mississippi government office. It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet, issue a certified copy, change a setting, remove or seal a filing, or answer legal questions about a case.
- Only the holding clerk can authenticate a court copy.
- Only the court can set, move, or confirm a hearing.
- Only a court can order a record sealed, amended, or corrected.
- Only a qualified legal professional can provide advice about a person’s case.
The original court or clerk remains the source for an official docket, document, disposition, and court-date confirmation.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those services set their own charges, terms, and privacy practices. A referral fee may be earned when a visitor uses a paid partner service. Official court access remains separate, and the clerk or court is the source to confirm any case information.
