Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Montgomery County Court Docket does not maintain a log of the search terms entered through the widget.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message, the message may be retained so it can be answered. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
Basic technical information may be collected when a page loads, including IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, referring site, pages viewed, time spent, and timestamps.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics may be used to understand traffic and improve performance. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical data may be used to operate and secure the resource, route a search request, diagnose errors, understand aggregate use, and support advertising that may be displayed on the pages.
No Court-Record Data on File
Montgomery County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of court dockets or personal case records. It describes public routes to the Montgomery County Circuit Clerk, Chancery Clerk, Justice Court, city clerks, and Mississippi Electronic Courts access. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers run search widgets. Information submitted through a widget is governed by that provider’s privacy practices, retention rules, and service terms. Review the provider’s policy before sending information.
Links to Other Websites
Links to Mississippi courts, clerks, PAMEC, and other resources lead to sites with their own policies. Those policies govern after a visitor leaves this resource. Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity or deliver ads.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. It may be processed by search partners for a submitted query, analytics services, advertising networks, or a government body when a valid legal demand requires disclosure.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information handled by the resource. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed fully secure.
Users Under 18
The resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. A person who believes a minor submitted information may request review of that information.
Your Data Rights
Depending on applicable law, a visitor may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or limits on processing of personal information held by this resource. Mississippi’s Public Records Act, Mississippi Code §§25-61-2 and 25-61-5, describes public-record access generally, while court access is governed by the Mississippi Judiciary public-records policy and court-specific rules.
Updates to This Policy
Changes will appear on this page when adopted. The current version is effective August 28, 2026.
